Spectroscopy

This is a set of observations made with the Photoheliograph Zeiss of 11cm aperture of the objective lens, installed at the Observatório Nacional. This telescope, with an adapted double quartz lens, was used to execute observations of the nebulas and solar spectrum, and spectrums of other stars and planets.

Note: The images of scanned plates have their names formed, initially, by three letters associated to a number to facilitate their location in the digital database and physical archive of the Observatório Nacional library.
